17th Century Colonial New England
“The Witch Index,” part of Margo Burns’ website: 17th Century Colonial New England with Special Emphasis on the Salem Witchcraft Trials of 1692 with a multitude of excellent links:

Burr, George Lincoln, ed. Narratives of the Witchcraft Cases 1648-1706. Charles Scribner’s Sons, 1914, Dover Publications, 2002. Contemporary commentary pro and con on the Salem trials plus other cases before and after 1692

Upham, Charles W. Salem Witchcraft. 2 vols. Reprint of 1867 orig. Corner House Publishers, 1971 among other facsimile editions; also, a one volume edition Dover Publications, Inc., 2000. This first extensive study of the trials greatly influenced later histories. Although biased, it includes material not available elsewhere.
